A figure of a fairy sculpted in rose gold on top of a cloud made of white mother-of-pearl reveals its presence. The wings of the fairy were depicted with a three-dimensional effect while being transparent like stained glass using a unique enameling technique derived from cloisonné called plique-a-jour.fake rolex The background of the dial, adorned with a radial guilloché pattern, is created by alternating translucent and opaque pink enamels to create a distinctive gradation effect. It is said that the Maison's dedicated enamel craftsmen had to repeat the process more than 10 times to create a natural feeling of color ranging from pearl white to yellowish champagne, deep plum tinged with purple, and intense fuchsia color close to red.
The fairy's face is decorated with a large rose-cut diamond, and the fairy's skirt is decorated with pink sapphires, round-cut diamonds set in front of the wing rims, staff, stars, and number indexes to add a unique romantic impression. Hours are indicated by jumping hours through an aperture (window) at the bottom of the dial, and minutes are displayed by pointing to the numbers on the right side of the dial as the fairy's hand and wand move in a retrograde manner.
As in the previous work, the movement was built on an automatic base (Q020) supplied by Valfleurier, a movement specialist under the Richemont Group, and the famous independent watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht and the workshop Ajangho founded by him. It is equipped with an exclusive caliber that can only be found in Van Cleef & Arpels, modified with a complication module developed and supplied by Agenhor (frequency of 4 hertz, power reserve of about 36 hours). Through the see-through case back with sapphire crystal inserted, you can see the sun and star sculptures, and the rotor decorated with guilloché patterns and the cloud shape shaped inside the glass. The strap is a glossy purple crocodile leather strap with no stitches, and the interchangeable strap/buckle replacement system is applied so you can easily exchange it with a different type of strap and enjoy it.
Born in 1934, the Ludo bracelet was loved as a sleek gold bracelet. The name Ludo is said to have originated from the childhood name of Louis Arpels, the brother-in-law of founder Alfred Van Cleef and a member of the company's management. The ergonomic bracelet that wraps around the wrist like velvet and the distinctive case design, inspired by the belts worn by women in the 1930s, made Ludo one of the Maison's iconic jewelry pieces.
This year, Van Cleef & Arpels reinterprets the legendary Ludo bracelet in the form of a secret watch. It has a distinctive shape with a mesh-style bracelet made of rose gold, connected by dense links, replica breitling and two semicircular motifs with rounded corners. Normally, only the gold bracelet is visible in the center, but if you press the motif on both sides densely set with 185 diamonds (approx. 5.08 carats) or 185 pink sapphires (approx. 5.68 carats) at the same time, the gold link structure on the front looks like a drawbridge. It's like wide open exposing the watch's dial. The combination of the Ludo Bracelet's distinctive bracelet and playful secret watch creates another cult item for the Maison.
